Is this a print or a poster?
I have in my closet a signed copy of Manuel Nunez’s “Violet Serene” I got it from an old friend who got it as a gift from the gallery where she purchsed 4 seriagraphs by the same artist.
I am wondering if the print I have is an actual print or a gallery poster? It is signed (i think it is an actual signature, but it could be printed) and has embossed gold leaf. But it also has a border printed with title and artist and in the lower right corner, in small print are the publisher’s copyright and logo. So, is it a giclee print or a poster?
I THINK AS U DESCRIBED , PLEASE CHECK THE PLATE MARK WITH THE HELP OF MAGNIFYING GLASS. IF U SEE SMALL DOTS ON IT, IT MAY NOT BE AN ORIGINAL PRINT.
OR CHECK THE SIGNATURE IF THE SIGNATURE ARE DONE WITH LEAD PENCIL AND NOT PRINTED ,THIS MAY BE A PRINT
